When bored... go to a Pet store and watch some mice!!

Jeremiah Gomez, Matthew Deprez and I travelled to Saint John for Matt's 24th birthday.....
We ended up at a pet store, and oddly enough stumbled upon some funny mice.....
They were feeding mice too and after this video was taken those cute white mice that are making us laugh so much were taken.... to be eaten :(

Anyways I hope that you enjoy this funny viewing....
I know we three did

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

Or... HAPPY FRIEND APPRECIATION DAY
Why be cynical on Valentines Day, just because you are single...that is not a good reason. God made today just like He made any other day. If anything use this day to appreciate all He has given to you… your Family, Friends, and if you have a significant other them too.
For myself I am going to make sure that all of my friends know that I love them, and am genuinely thankful that God has placed them in my life.

Choose optimism instead of pessimism

My Roommate and I are going out to dinner and then to a movie. I am very thankful for my Sara Milligan she has been such a blessing to me this year, and I enjoy spending time with her. Now if you are just sitting wallowing in pity scanning through blogs looking for another cynical person so bash this day, than I encourage you to take a different outlook and let someone know you appreciate them!

1 Peter 4:19 - "Trust yourself to the God who made you; for He will never fail you!"
That is just my verse for the day…

It is about time for an update...........

Happenings in the life of Kate….

December was a great month! I finished up my internship November 30th, and then had the month of December to sleep in, spend time with my family, and hang out with friends. Since my internship was at my home church though I did find myself still spending time in the office. I took a trip to Presquile Maine, visited Lor and Robert for a week. We had a lot of snow which made skiing conditions great, and since both of my sisters work at the hill I was able to get out for free. I spent some time in Toronto with my cousin and we took a spontaneous day trip to Buffalo, NY… if you are an avid reader then you will remember when I went to Boston NY, and thought Buffalo was in MA…now I have been to both cities in the proper states. Matthew Deprez dropped by my house on his way through from Michigan to Maine. He got to go horseback riding for the first time (that was a funny sight). Christmas was wonder I was blessed abundantly with Family, lots of love, and of course some nice gifts. I spent New Years at home with my Best Friend Connie; we stayed up really late and watch Saturday Night Live. (Hey I never claimed to be an exciting person)

Moving on to January…I left home January 7th bound for Fredericton New Brunswick, to Amy Smiths house!! Since I always have a odd flight partner let me tell you about my seat buddy Joe. UNB was going back at the same time so my flight was rather full of students (and some of the guys were not that bad looking, I am not going to lie I did ask God if I could sit beside one) Now Joe my seat buddy was not that bad, he was friendly, just came from Vagas and had been flying all day. This prompted the question why was he in Vagas….well he was in a Beer-pong tournament! Yea I sat beside a beer-pong champion (I just laughed in my head, God has great humor doesn’t He) Needless to say once I explained what I was going to school for the conversations were fairly dull.

I arrived on campus January 8th with Amy, who did an amazing job helping me settle in to my new Town House apartment. I met my new wonderful roommate Sara Milligan, who I have absolutely come to Adore! The Lord has really taken care of me while I have returned here, and Sara is one of those tings that I know the Lord placed as my roommate. A program at the school (Mentorship) has allowed me to have the opportunity to mentor her for the semester! Heading into the fourth week of classes I am settled in to routine (staying up late and then getting to class, then napping!) I am heading home this weekend for a short three night visit! It is also Connie’s Birthday!

So that is my short little overview of an update!
I will post pictures from the weekend once I get back.
